CCR 3
This is my CCR 3 for the data of improvements of my production skills and how it improves .
CCR 2
Our demographic target audience are male from the age group of 17 - 35 , we target them ,because we think that they might enjoy our movie because it has many violence which are wanted by people from people in the age range , We also target south east asian people , because our movie actors is from Indonesia which is southeast asia so we would want to target people from southeast asia . and we also target western people , because our action movie are mostly inspired from western movies so it could attract many western people to watch the movie.
Our psychographic target audiences are motorcycle riders , thrill seekers and people who like fighting and revenge , we target motorcycle rider , because in our movie the main character were shown using motorcycle so this could help attract motorcycle riders and we add brutal fighting scene which would attract people who like fighting and thrill seekers , our movie is also about a person seeking for revenge so this would attract people that like to see someone taking revenge.
Our age rating is 17 ++ because our movie has many violence and blood and brutal fight scenes which is not necessary for people below 17 to watch
Our distribution company is lionsgate we chose this distribution company because this company have release many action movie which is successful in the film industry like John Wick . and we will promote our movie through advertisement in social medias like instagram and youtube , we use this because many people use youtube and instagram so many people could see our ad and maybe interested to watch our movie .
Audience could watch our movie from cinema and streaming sites such as netflix .

Dominant Reading
Dominant Reading
Group:
This is just a quick catch up session that we did as a group. We thought it would be a good idea to check what our intended dominant readings are for the different things being represented in our film opening. We have recently learned about Stuart Hall’s Reception Theory with Dominant, Oppositional, and Negotiated readings. For our media text to be successful, we want to make sure the message is clear and able to reach the correct audience. Below we will discuss our intended readings, and compare them to the intended readings we made in our Statement of Intent earlier on in the project. It will be interesting to see if our ideas have evolved.
List | Our intended Dominant Reading | How we will achieve this with technical elements | |
Individuals | Boss Candra | Powerful in terms of strength and influence Dedicated smart strong | Mise en scene: Suit, Luxurious Chair, Menacing smile |
Social group | Criminals | We wish to represent criminals and be evil and unjust. | This will be primarily shown with the bosses fighting style being dirty and unfair. |
Places | Boss office Road | We want to show the bosses main “office” to be a place fit for a king and extravagant a reflection of a his power and influence | As we can see here this is done with dark moody lighting. The dark wooden floor gives a rustic and luxurious feel. The boss also sits in a central position showing power within the room. The room is also a bit dirty and industrial with exposed piping this shows that he may be a careless person. |
Events | Fighting Seduction | The fighting in this opening will be intense and over the top which we hope will add to the comedic | ~ Abusing multiple cuts (make sure it has enough time frame for the audience to understand) ~ Gay Element for seduction |
Overall Message | We wanted to show that evil or bad may be good in the short time but good will prevail in the long run. |
How are these similar or different from your Statement of Intent?
The bosses character traits are similar
We want to reduce the vitality and amount of guards but we will still use them as comedic value.
