week 2 

this week we learn about different types of genre and the genre convention this will help me to understand different category of films and this will help me target the right audience when making my project

and we learned about semiotics which could help me when doing my project , so i could deliver messages to the audience through the project.

Week 3

In this week we learned about camera angles and we did statement of intent this will help my project by making different angles to express the peoples emotion

week 4

This week we we learned about storyboards on how to make scenes and we learned about camera movements for example pan fixed dolly tilt are gonna be useful to my project and we learned about diegetic sound, non-diegetic sound ad lastly trans diegetic sound.

week 5

this week we learn about mise en scene this will help us to create an atmosphere  and I miss editing because of a national test . 

week 6 : 

 this week we learn about buckingham theory and steve neales theory we will apply to this to our project by being able to conform enough to our genre of tourism add but adding our twist of horror and cultural elements to make it intresting. 

week 7

 we learnt of 2 narrative theories which are Roland Barthes's and Levi Strauss'.

Roland Barthes thoery consisted of 5 narrative codes: hermeneutic, proairetic, semantic, symbolic and cultural codes.

and Levi Strauss's theory involves the idea of binary opposits such as bad vs good, Science vs nature.

week 8 :

self reflection : i'm not really happy doing the weekly progress because im lazy but this is important for my understanding
